「Cycle of Becoming（生成の循環）」
耐久と美しさへの証
枯れるのではなく、熟していく。
満ちて、実を結ぶ。
時の痕跡――そばかす、しわ、血管、そして目、手、背中、足、首、顎のラインなど、
身体のアウトラインのすべてがそれぞれの物語を宿している。
私たちはそれらを、植物が本来持つ強さ、官能性、そして静かな優雅さと重ね合わせる。
植物というメタファー
花びらが落ち、葉が色付いても、それらは再び大地へ戻り、次の命を養っていく。
種から根へ、開花から枯死へ、そしてまた種へ戻る。
この循環が物語を支えている。

作品のインスピレーション源は植物の持つ美しさだけでなく、不気味さや進化の過程にあります。
装飾として消費されるイメージではなく、環境への適応の中で形作られた構造や質感、その存在理由に私は関心を寄せています。

制作は、植物を分解したり、極端に近い距離で観察したりすることから始まります。
ミクロな視点で捉えられた形は、身体や空間へと置き換えられながら、新しいイメージへと変換されていきます。

また、映画やドキュメンタリーを通して触れる、人間の心理や非合理的な現象にも影響を受けています。
理解しきれないものや説明のつかない現象に対して生まれる違和感や魅力は、制作の根底にあるテーマの1つです。

こうした視点を通して、植物と人間、自然と文化の関係性を静かに見つめ直し、見る人の認識にわずかな揺らぎや気づきをもたらすことを試みています。


A Testament to Endurance and Beauty
Not withering, but ripening―maturing into fullness and bearing fruit.
There’s a certain beauty only they can hold.
The marks of time―freckles, wrinkles, veins―and the contours of the body:
eyes, hands, backs, feet, necks, jawlines.
Each tells a story.
We mirror these against the innate strength, sensuality and elegance found in plants.
Plants as Metaphor
Even as petals fall and leaves turn, they return to the earth―nourishing what comes next.
From seed to root, bloom to decay, and back to seed again―this cyclical rhythm underpins the narrative.
A quiet resilience. A natural power.

The source of inspiration for the work lies not only in the beauty of plants, but also in their eeriness and the process of evolution. Rather than images consumed as decoration, attention is given to structures, textures, and reasons for existence formed through adaptation to the environment.

The process begins by dissecting plants and observing them at an extremely close distance. Forms captured from a microscopic perspective are replaced into the body and space, and are transformed into new images.

The work is also influenced by human psychology and irrational phenomena encountered through films and documentaries. In particular, the sense of discomfort and fascination toward things that cannot be fully understood or explained is one of the themes underlying the work.

Through these perspectives, the relationship between plants and humans, nature and culture is quietly re-examined, attempting to bring slight shifts and awareness to the viewer’s perception.

植物や野菜などの自然物を媒体に、身体や空間表現を軸とした作品を制作している。
現在、ロンドンにて開催される「WEST MEETS EAST―Pop-Up & Reception」にて、キュレーションと空間スタイリングを手がけている。
