－今までの人生で一番印象に残っている髪型はありますか？

これまで長い間ロングのストレートヘアだったのですが、2年ほど前に映画の役作りで、7年ぶりにウルフヘアにしてパーマをかけたことがとても印象に残っています。
原作漫画のヴィジュアルに近づけるために、スタッフの皆さんと意見を交わしながら、5時間以上かけて作り上げました。信頼できる方々と1つの目標に向かってものづくりをする時間は、本当に尊いものです。

もう1つ忘れられないのが、25歳の時にファースト写真集の撮影でオーストラリアを横断した時のことです。現地の地下鉄構内で見つけた小さな床屋さんの佇まいがとても可愛くて、「ここで切ってもらおう」と思い切って飛び込みました。
おかげで、自分でも新鮮に感じるヘアスタイルに出合えた、大切な思い出です。


－普段の生活の中で、ヘアアクセサリーを身につけることはありますか？

はい。すでにたくさん持っているので、「もう買っちゃダメだ」と思いながらも、可愛いものを見つけるとつい買ってしまいます。
ずっと地毛の色である黒髪を大切にしているので、髪型ではカットラインで表情を出すことにこだわっています。
今日の撮影のように、スタイリングやヘアアクセサリーで絶妙な変化をつけるのも、とても好きです。


－「ALEXANDRE DE PARIS」は、熟練の職人による確かな品質と、上質な素材使いが魅力です。吉岡さんにとって「上質」とは何でしょうか？

長く使い続けても飽きることなく、「これからもずっと手元に置いておきたい」と思えるもの。
それが、私にとっての上質さの証だと思います。
また、その時代にフィットすることだけを追い求めすぎないのも、大切なのかもしれません。
今日の撮影のように、ヘアメイクさんやスタイリストさんが「本当に素敵だ」と思うものを、真っ直ぐ私にぶつけてくださるファッションシューティングにも、上質さを感じます。
そんなものづくりに身を委ねられることは、被写体としてとても幸せな時間です。
上質なものに出合うと、いつも胸が高鳴ります。

－Is there a hairstyle that has left the deepest impression on you in your life so far?

I’ve always had long, straight hair, but about two years ago, while preparing for a movie role, I got a wolf cut and a perm for the first time in seven years—that really left a lasting impression on me.
To get as close as possible to the look in the original comic, Our team spent over five hours working on it while exchanging ideas.
Those moments of creating something together with people I trust, all working toward a single goal, is truly precious.

Another unforgettable memory is when I was 25 and traveling across Australia for the photo shoot of my first book.
I found a tiny barbershop inside a local subway station that looked so charming, I decided to get my hair cut there on a whim, and walked right in.
Thanks to that, I discovered a hairstyle that felt fresh even to me—it’s a cherished memory.


－Do you ever wear hair accessories in your daily life?

Yes. I already have so many that I tell myself, “I really shouldn’t buy any more”, but whenever I find something lovely, I can’t help but buy it.
I’ve always cherished my natural black hair, so I’m particular about creating different expressions through the cutline.
I also really love adding subtle variations through styling and hair accessories, just like in today’s shoot.


－“ALEXANDRE DE PARIS” is known for its reliable quality, crafted by skilled artisans, and its use of high-quality materials. What does ‘high quality’ mean to you?

It’s something I never get tired of, even after using it for a long time—something that makes me think, “I’ll keep this with me forever”.
I believe that’s the true mark of high quality for me.
It may also be important not to get too caught up in simply chasing what’s trendy at the moment.
I also sense a quality in fashion shoots like today’s, where the hair and makeup artists and stylists present me directly with pieces they genuinely think are wonderful.
As a model, it’s a truly fulfilling experience to be able to surrender myself to that kind of creative process.
My heart always races when I encounter something of genuine quality.
