「Presence in Empty Spaces（余白に佇む存在）」
この作品群は、一時的に人が住んでいない、もしくは廃墟となった空間における静寂と、かつていた人々のかすかな痕跡を探求する進行中のプロジェクトの一部です。
静謐な風景や閑散とした建物、ミニマルな情景、そして微細なディテールを通して、しばしば見過ごされてしまうような小さな瞬間――存在と不在や、記憶と沈黙の狭間に浮かぶ空間を捉えようとしています。

繰り返しているテーマは、余白やありふれたものから生まれる、情緒的で詩的な雰囲気です。
私は孤独や静寂、一時性、不在、そして人の存在と空白の間に漂う静かな緊張感に関心を持っています。
一見空っぽに見えるものの中に宿る豊かさを明らかにし、開放感と内省をもたらすようなイメージを創りたいのです。

写真の多くは、穏やかな季節に小さな町を旅した際の、静かな時間帯やオフシーズンの風景、忘れ去られた小道など、自然と繋がりを感じる瞬間から生まれています。
時間がゆっくりと流れるように感じられ、思索や繋がりの生まれる場所や瞬間がインスピレーション源です。


This selection is part of an ongoing project exploring stillness and the subtle traces of human presence in temporarily uninhabited or abandoned spaces.

Through quiet landscapes, empty structures, minimal scenes and subtle details, I try to observe small moments that often go unnoticed, places suspended between presence and absence, memory and silence.

A recurring theme is the emotional and poetic atmosphere that can emerge from empty spaces and everyday objects.
I am focused on solitude, stillness, temporality, absence, and the silent tension between human presence and emptiness.
I try to create images that evoke a sense of openness and contemplation, revealing the richness that inhabits what may initially seem empty.

Many of the images come from travels through small towns during quiet seasons, calm hours of the day, off-season spaces, roads and forgotten paths, and moments of connection with nature.
I am inspired by spaces and moments where time seems to slow down, allowing contemplation and connection to emerge.
