シエス マルジャン（SIES MARJAN）

ダン・フラビン風のセットが、コレクションそのものと同じくらい印象的。サンダー・ラクが手がける今回の5番目のコレクションは「強烈な夢」という題材でしたが、まさにその通り、豊かな色合いの活気に満ちた冒険的なコレクションで、本当に満足のいく夢のようなランウェイでした。

With a Dan Flavin’esque set almost as impressive as the collection itself（almost）, the fifth collection Sander Lak sent down the runway was referenced as “an intense dream.” And dreamlike it was, an ombre, vibrant, explorative and wholly satisfying dream. 

ザ・ロウ（THE ROW）

印象的なセットといえば、ザ・ロウのショー。イサム・ノグチの彫刻を集めた庭園のような、その彫刻の雰囲気を反映したコレクションのために構成された静かな空間で行われました。ノグチによる彫刻が13作、ザ・ロウによる46の作品と共に展示され、組み合わせのバランスが見事。今シーズンのザ・ロウのコレクションは、フォームに関する深い理解と融合を表現し、ノグチの作品を称賛するのに本当にふさわしいものでした。

Speaking of impressive sets, The Row’s showroom was transformed into an Isamu Noguchi sculpture garden, providing a composed and tranquil space to show a collection that reflected just that. Thirteen of Noguchi’s sculptures were featured along with The Row’s forty six looks and the combination was a balanced one.  The Row’s deep understanding and integration of form in their FW18 collection complimented and celebrated Noguchi’s work perfectly. 

マイケル・コース（MICHAEL KORS）

マイケル・コースは、輝き、魅力、音楽といったすべての要素を常に提供し、さらに進化させています。コースは、ショーのやり方を本当によく心得ていますが、このファッションウィークでのショー（あるいは、プロダクションというべきでしょうか）は、これまでのショーの中でも最高の出来栄えの一つでした。音楽は、ここ数年の大ヒット曲のメドレーで、コレクションも近い将来、大ヒット間違いなしの作品ばかりでした。

The glitz, the glamour, the soundtrack - Michael Kors always delivers it all, and then some. The man just knows how to put on a show and his FW show, or should I say, production, was one of his best. The soundtrack was a medley of massive hits from the recent past and the collection was a medley of what I can only assume will be massive hits in the near future. 

エーエルシー（A.L.C.）

つまるところ理由はシンプルで、私、着やすい服が好きなんです。A.L.C.のコレクションは、どれも着たくなるものばかり。言ってみれば、それがA.L.C.のコレクションに常に共通したテーマであり、今シーズンも例外ではありません。

Broken down to a simple reason, I like clothes that I can wear. And I want to wear everything from A.L.C., and that’s a common thread, so to speak, with each collection she puts out and this season is no exception. 

パイアー・モス（PYER MOSS）

ピアーモスのデザイナーであるケルビー・ジャン・レイモンド（Kerby Jean-Raymond）は、影響力のある活動家としても知られており、様々なプラットフォームを利用して発信しています。2018-19年秋冬のファッションウィークのコレクションでも彼のメッセージが表現されていますが、今回は服が自らの意見を語っているかのようです。リーボックとクロスカラーズ、両ブランドとの印象的なコラボレーションもあり、アメリカにおける最高のストリートウェア。80年代ストリートファッションを形作った両ブランドを上手く組み合わせています。

Known for being equally as talented a designer as he is an impactful activist, Pyer Moss designer, Kerby Jean-Raymond, uses his platform to make statements, and he did just that with his FW18 collection and this time the clothes speak for themselves. It is American streetwear at its best, playing with two impressive collaborations, Reebok and Cross Colours; both embodiments of 80s street fashion and playing it well.

マーク ジェイコブス（MARC JACOBS）

最後になりましたが、マーク・ジェイコブスのショーがニューヨークファッションウィークの集大成であり、私たちを最高の気分にしてくれたのは間違いありません。今シーズンは80年代の鮮やかな色彩と豊富なシルエットを思い起こさせるコレクションでした。マークがある意味で本領を発揮し、彼の服を捧げる女性のための、その人にあったトーンで物語を描くようなコレクションを繰り出しました。大胆な美しさ、生まれ持った魅力、そして否定できない強さを感じさせるショーでした。

Last but certainly not least, the Marc Jacobs FW show was the culmination of NYFW and decidedly left us on a high note. And a transportative one, bringing us right back to the 80s where the colors were as bright as the silhouettes were massive. Marc has hit a certain stride it seems, sending out collections that tell a story with a narrative in line with the women he’s designing for. This collection telling a tale of bold beauty, innate power and undeniable strength.
