素晴らしいフェイシャルを体験するなら、ジョアンナ・チェックに会うのが一番。彼女のフェイシャルは私がこれまで施術してもらった中でもダントツのクオリティだったし、彼女と過ごした2時間は最高に楽しくて学びの多い時間でした。信じられないかもしれませんが、肌をつつかれたり、引っ張られたり、一時的にミイラみたいにぐるぐる巻きにされているうち、明るく引き締まった完璧なフローレス・スキンがを手に入れられるのです。


ジョアンナは流行りのスキンケアをあまり取り入れず、昔から愛用されているメソッドやアイテムで構成された、知る人ぞ知る「チェック・リスト」と、昔からの言い伝えである「You are what you eat（食べるものがあなたの体をつくる）」の二つを意識するようにしています。このインナービューティーの秘訣を教えてもらった時、ちょうど「サカラ・クレンズ」の施術中でした。もちろん中身からの美を意識しようと心に決めましたが、と同時に、フェイシェルが肌にもたらす肌表面の効果の絶大さにも感動。


施術が終わる頃には、私と私の肌はすっかりチェックの魔法の虜になりました。

Not only was this one of the best facials I have ever gotten but it was probably the most informative and fun nearly two hours I’ve ever spent getting a facial. And yes, fun can be had while you’re getting poked, pulled and temporarily mummified, especially when the result is brighter, tighter and nearly flawless skin.

Joanna does not believe in “trendy skincare”, but rather believes in some, very tried and very true, products from her reputable “CzechList” as well as the mantra that you are what you eat (both of us were on the Sakara Cleanse at the time of the facial), asserting the idea that beauty starts on the inside. But of course, she certainly does help with the beauty on the outside.

I got “Czech’ed”, I loved it and so does my skin.
